MEDICARE AND GOVERNMENT FUNDED OPTIONS
The Therapeutic Play Solutions team are eligible for a wide variety of Medicare-rebated therapy sessions, as well as private Health Fund rebates (check with your individual health fund).
NDIS: If you are self managed or plan managed, we are able to see you for therapeutic supports and early childhood intervention services. For more information and to see if you are eligible for NDIS funding please go to www.NDIS.gov.au
We ask that families with NDIS funding provide a copy of their NDIS plan to enable us to prepare a service agreement with transparent information about fees and service provision. Our NDIS hourly rates are based on fees outlined in the NDIS Price Guide.
MHCP: The Mental Health Care Plan from your GP can offer up to ten partially rebatable individual or group therapy sessions per calendar year. See the Australian Government website on the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme.
CDMP: The Chronic Disease Management Plan, formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC), from a GP, allows clients five rebated sessions per calendar year.
HCWA: The Helping Children with Autism Plan, under a referral from your Paediatrician or Psychiatrist, can offer up to four assessment rebated sessions and 20 rebated therapy sessions. The assessment sessions must be completed before the child's 13th birthday, and the therapy sessions must be completed before the child's 15th birthday. See the Government HCWA fact sheet.
The Medicare Safety Net provides financial assistance for those families with high out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes cancellations cannot be avoided, however, late notice means that we are unable to offer the appointment to another family. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee that is 100% of the appointment cost. Our Cancellation Policy falls in line with guidelines set out by the NDIA.
